These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of PawPark, a dog park community application operated by PawPark Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access or use our service.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PawPark, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.
You must be at least 13 years old to use our service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to use PawPark.
Account Responsibilities
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your account information up to date
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all content posted under your account, including dog profiles and photos.
Dog Park Community Guidelines
PawPark is a community platform for dog owners. You agree to:
- Be respectful and courteous to other users
- Provide accurate information about your dogs
- Supervise your dogs at all times when visiting parks
- Follow local dog park rules and regulations
- Report any incidents or concerns through the app
- Respect other people’s privacy and property
We reserve the right to remove users who violate community standards.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may NOT use PawPark to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international laws
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
- Share content that infringes on others’ rights
- Distribute spam, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to hack or compromise our systems
- Use automated tools to access our service
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Dog Safety and Liability
Important: PawPark is an information platform only. We do not:
- Operate or control any dog parks
- Supervise interactions between dogs or owners
- Guarantee the safety of any location or user
- Verify the health status of dogs or users
You are solely responsible for:
- Your dog’s behavior and actions
- Ensuring your dog is healthy and properly vaccinated
- Following all local leash laws and regulations
- Any damage or injury caused by your dog
Always use your best judgment when visiting parks or meeting other dogs.
Location Services
PawPark uses location services to help you find nearby dog parks and check in. By enabling location services, you agree that:
- We may collect and store your location data
- Location information may be shared with other users
- You can disable location services at any time
- Location accuracy may vary and should not be solely relied upon
We recommend verifying park information independently before visiting.
Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you post to PawPark, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content through our service.
By posting content, you confirm that:
- You own or have permission to use the content
- The content does not violate any laws or rights
- You grant us the right to use the content in our service
PawPark and its features are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our app.
Service Availability
We strive to keep PawPark available and functional, but we cannot guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access to our service
- Error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices
- Availability in all geographic locations
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time with or without notice.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- PawPark is provided “as is” without warranties
- We are not liable for any damages from app use
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
- We are not responsible for third-party content or services
- You use our service at your own risk
This limitation applies even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Subscription Terms
- Subscription Title: PawPark Pro Subscription
- Plans: Weekly (1 week), Monthly (1 month), Yearly (1 year)
- Free Trial: 7-day free trial available
- Auto-Renewal: Renews unless cancelled 24 hours before period ends
- Payment: Charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation
- Price: Shown in-app in your local currency
- Cancellation: Manage via your Apple ID Account Settings
- Refunds: Managed by Apple per their policies
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your Apple ID settings.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account anytime by deleting the app or contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in prohibited activities
- Provide false information
- Remain inactive for an extended period
Upon termination, access to the service ceases, but these Terms remain in effect where applicable.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date
- Notify users via the app or email
- Allow time for review
Continued use of PawPark after changes means you accept the new Terms. If not, stop using the service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PawPark Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law.
